Project Highlights

The John Hart Generating Station, located within the City of Campbell River, has been operating sine 1947. To ensure it continues to deliver clean, reliable energy for years to come, the facility is being modernized. Included in the project will also be a new water bypass facility to provide continous water flow below the generating station thereby protecting the downstream fish habitat. Approximately 95 percent of the Campbell River flow passes through the John Hart Generating Station. Construction work started in spring 2014 and the project is expected to be completed by 2018/2019. T&M Specialists have been hired to provice training services on the specialised Normet equipment neing used on this project.
