The Company acquires the assets of Specialist Gurkha Services UK Limited

After an 18-month professional partnership The Company (GBFC) and Specialist Gurkha Services (SGS) have reach an agreement to merge their business relationship more closely. GBFC will acquire the assets of SGS through formal purchase and transfer of SGS shares.

Due to the multi-disciplinary nature and geographical diversity of GBFC's operations, the company identified the need for an in-house Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) capacity of its own.

A UK-based company, SGS has been providing landmine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance & consultancy services worldwide since 1994. By acquiring SGS, GBFC now has access to a wealth of hands-on experience and a solid track record of landmine & UXO clearance operations. GBFC's extensive marine/diving resources and experience ensures that the company can now cover EOD services on both land and beneath water.

The acquisition of SGS will see the former directors of that company become part of GBFC's management team.

We now look forward to offering turnkey services to our clients that include the remediation of explosive remnants of war in former conflict zones.
